I love fall

Hello there. And no, I didn't fall off the face of the world. I just really haven't felt like blogging lately, but it's been a while.

So, what the heck has happened since Aug. 8th? Not a whole lot. As far as I'm concerned, time seems to slip by to fast. But never the less, I turned 21, got my first ticket, and caught myself on fire. But not on purpose of course.

My first ticket wasn't for speeding, but for swimming in a river. Yeah, I thought it was a little messed up myself. I mean, you can canoe down the river, but you can't swim in it. Anyways, the park ranger gave my friends and me a ticket. Partners in crime I guess. My main excuse is that the sign showed no swimming in just one particular spot. So, we went way down stream, but I guess that didn't cut it. The ticket was $103. The next day we went down to pay for it. I was expecting maybe $30 off. Well, they took off $8.

Okay, my shirt caught on fire in my kitchen. Now this is kind of funny, just because I really didn't get hurt. But one morning I was going to start coffee and realized that I didn't have any filters, so I started the stove to boil some water. Of course, I just got up, and it was 10 am, so I wasn't fully awake. But I turned on the wrong burner (the one closest to the edge of the stove), and it just so happens that my back was leaning up against it. Well, you can figure out the rest. Anyways, Zach thought it was funny. He said it looked like I was doing some funky dance, trying to get it out. But thank God I didn't get burned to seriously, just a little.

Well, I started a math class out at the community college. So far, it's going really well. I'm glad to start school again. Gee, that sounds weird.

Oh, one more thing. I got a 36'' TV for free. A friend at work wanted my to house/dog sit for him for only one night. So he paid me with his TV, and it works great! He had two TVs that he had been meaning to sell, and I said I would take the smaller of the two. Yet, I didn't have a choice. It was the big TV or $40. So I went with the 36''.

Take care.  ~ andrue

No Rest for the Wicked

Last Wednesday night 9:45 - got together with Starbucks friends to say good-bye to our great co-worker, Shane, at Apple Bees. That was sad to see him go. Didn't go to bed till 12:00am

Thursday morning 4:15am - get ready for work. Get off work at 12:30. 2:30pm - 6:00pm - pick up hey bails.

Friday morning 4:05am - go to work. Get off work at 1:15. Do a yard job at 2:00 pm. Get home at 4:00pm. 4:30pm pick up hey bails. 8:30 - done with hey bails. 9:30 - I'm asleep.

Saturday morning - get up at 6:05am to get ready for work. Work from 6:45am to 2:30pm. 4:00pm - go do hey bails. 8:00pm done with hey bails. Saturday night - get nine and a half hours of sleep.

Sunday morning - work from 10:00am to 6:00pm. That ended the 40 hr work week, plus the 11 hrs in hey bails.

This Monday morning - get up at 4:05, work till 1:30pm. Get Tuesday and Wednesday off. How fantastic!

Well, I'm on vacation this week. Actually it's going to end after tomorrow. I must say I've enjoyed myself. The fam. and I took a hike on Mt. Kit Carson (left of Mt. Spokane). I also had the pleasure of driving my cousin's ski-jet out at Liberty Lake. Dad, Zach, and I competed in trying to see who could go the fastest. We all got in the low 60's. It was pretty rad.

Piano lessons are going ok. For fun, I was just trying to figure out the piano intro to The Ludlows, a song from the soundtrack to Legends of the Fall. I've had some success. I should probably practice more on sight reading, since I'm not to good at it.

I'm going to work at running 3 miles in 18 minutes. Yesterday I ran 3 miles in 23 minutes. Yeah, I need to improve. I like to go in the evening when the temperatures cool down.

Hey, I'm reading a book called How to Read a Book. Yeah, weird.

This summer is flying by so fast. It seems I've been working a lot between Starbucks, bucking hey bails (which is over), lawn job, and whatever else it seems I do.

Don't let the days go by.
